Conveniently located in the center of Amsterdam, our green and historic Plantage neighbourhood borders the Amstel River. It was part of the city's historic Jewish quarter and now contains parts of the University of Amsterdam, as well as some of its most important cultural destinations. Just a stroll from our door you'll find the new Hermitage Amsterdam Museum, Hortus Botanicus Gardens, Artis Zoo, the Jewish Historical Museum, the newly-opened Resistance Museum and the Muziektheater (Ballet and Opera House).
