Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast: "Great stay"

Would I stay at this location again: absolutely! I found this B&B through Trip Advisor and I was not disappointed. It was spacious and clean and a perfect retreat after a long days sightseeing. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. It was nice to sample some authentic Dutch accommodation rather than playing it safe and always going for a hotel chain that you know!! Our party consisted of 4 in our 20's and 30's - just incase you were wondering.

This was a great place to stay in Amsterdam. It was like having your own apartment with an excellent fresh breakfast brought to your room each morning. The location is quiet, convenient, and there are several non-touristy restaurants within walking distance. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and spacious. The tram and metro are close by and the proprietor was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

We decided to chose a bed and breakfast in Amsterdam as some of the hotels were expensive and did not include breakfast. What a good decision we made!! The accommodation was excellent. We are a family with 2 teenagers (15 and 19). We had a suite which consisted of 2 rooms, 1 double bedroom and one twin room (including a computer). The rooms were tastefully decorated and extremely clean, believe me, because I am particularly fussy when its comes to cleanliness. The shower room was modern and clean with nice fluffy towels, and the toilet was in an individual room. Kevin, our host was extremely nice and very helpful he provided us with a top class breakfast consisting of lovely fresh fruit, including melon, strawberries, kiwi, pear, blueberries and the best blackberries I have ever tasted!!! This was followed by boiled eggs, warm bread, croissants and jam and the occasional waffle, yum!!

It was a pleasant 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre but if required you could catch the metro which was 1 minute away - we preferred the walk. I recommend this accommodation and would certainly stop again in the future. Thank you Kevin for making our short break a good one!!!

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying with you at the beginning of the month. The girls kept talking about your great breakfasts our entire trip. Can't wait to come back to Amsterdam.

What a wonderful surprise! Staying at the Amsterdam B&B is truly like having your own apartment in Amsterdam - we had our own entire floor. Our hosts (the owners) were available when needed and invisible otherwise giving us tremendous feelings of comfort and privacy. Their generous and delicious breakfasts were served when we wanted and their guidance with maps and suggestions for sight seeing and getting around town was very helpful. This was the BEST B&B experience we have ever enjoyed...THANKS Kevin!

This was a delightful place to stay in Amsterdam - a quiet, non-touristy neighborhood, but everything is still in walking distance. The breakfasts delivered to our room each morning were beautiful and luscious and our host was helpful when we needed him, but otherwise gave us plenty of privacy. It was quiet and peaceful. The availability of a computer with broadband internet was very welcome - we'd go look up restaurant reviews and directions.

Having spent a far too short weekend at the Amsterdam B&B I would definitely recommend it and I look forward to staying again when I'm next in Amsterdam.

Tasteful and beautifully presented room and bathroom in a lovely house in a convenient central location.

We (a group of 4 teens) really enjoyed our stay in the BB! The rooms (and especially the beds! ;) ) are really comfortable and nice, there are cooking facilities and everything was very clean. You can reach everything by foot and a metro station is round the corner. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We liked it very much and want to come back some time!

Our family of 6 (including 4 daughters aged 3-12) enjoyed 3 relaxing days in this spacious and clean accommodation. Plenty of healthy breakfast for us all and a very friendly and helpful owner who's map guided us around the city. Walking distance to the flower market and convenient tram stops practically outside the door for longer distances.
If you want good quality family accommodation that wont break the bank then look no further-the kids loved it!

We stayed here for three nights in March, our first trip to Amsterdam. The guy who runs the place was super friendly and helpful with tourist advice. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, the bathroom beautiful and the breakfast (brought to your room everyday!) was fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.
